Touched by an Angel

The plot revolves with the three angels Monica [Roman Downey], Tess [Della Resse], and Andrew [John Dye] who sent to earth for their assignment. Their mission is to help people from depression, troubles and bring the message of God. They are not actually the solutions of the problem but inspire, deliver the message of Hope.

Tess becomes her guidance in doing her assignment. Andrew is a case worker after promoted still help both Monica and Tess. He is an Angel of Death who is in charged to take people who died in their eternal fate, heaven or hell. One situation that will test Monica for her to be promoted. Monica as a case worker is up promotion defending Zack, an innocent victim who suspected blowing up the school full of children. The prosecutor played by David Ogden Stiers was actually the Devil, made Zack convicted to the case in despite of best effort of Monica. Zack has sent inside the prison. Being her defendant, Monica visited Zack and voluntarily offers herself to be his guardian who will protect him from danger in the federal prison.

Later, they found out that it was the prosecutor who blew up the school. But before the prosecutor can be sent to jail, suddenly disappear. In the finale series, Monica find out that the said prosecutor was actually the God who just happen to test her. She succeeded and then finally promoted.According to the words of God: "There is no greater love than to give your life away for someone else". This words has been considered the most explicit Gospel message of all the series ; as it can be directly applied to Jesus Christ.

Touched by an Angel is an American fantastic television series which ran for nine season and aired from 1994 to 2003. It can be said a religious show showing the Love of God.
