Rachel Green is known as a popular girl in highschool and a daddy's girl. After he left her cheater fiancee to the wedding day, she find her life suddenly change. She has a long time bestfriend, Monica Gellar who comfort her in times of pain. Rachel from being dependent turns into an independent one when she gave birth to her first baby with Ross Gellar,the unexpected results after the drunken night. They get married and move in Ross place.
Monica Gellar, a fun loving and long time bestfriend of Rachel who doesnt care for being overweight. She is a head chef in one restaurant in Manhatten and later wife of Chandler Bing. The two are unlucky to have a baby so they adopt.
Ross Gellar is a paleontologist who has bad experience in his marriage life. He was married and divorced at three times with different women. He is looking for a serious commitment at this time and found it to Rachel, his long time crush who happens to be his wife. They have blessed a baby.
Chandler Bing, a financially secure data processor who never had a serious relationship. He relies on humor as his defense mechanism. Before he got along with five friends, he became Ross bestfriend during college and met Monica and Rachel after he invited for a thanksgiving party. She dated Monica without the consent of Ross before they get married.
Joey Tribianni, above all become especially open with Chandler. Despite of being successful when comes to women, he is a poor actor who desperately aim for fame and fortune. Chandler help him with money for acting lessons and professional photograph for Joey to become famous and rich.
Phoebe is a personal masseuse and aspiring musician. She is dreaming of one thing, that is, to be a star in music industry. Although her five friends believe that it is impossible to happen, they still encourage her to write. Phoebe as a lovable hippy chick often perform at the Central Perk Coffee House.
